Breanna Kaup

Everyone encounters personal obstacles and, though difficult, it is our obstacles that actually create a place for personal growth, healthier selves, and better relationships. Breanna is passionate about wading through life's waters with you and helping you find your best self on the other side of whatever is troubling you. With help, you can be well.

Breanna has a special interest in women's mental health including pregnancy and post-partum adjustments and mood disorders, self-esteem, anxiety/stress, grief & loss, life transitions, other general mood disorders, and family changes.  She uses evidence based techniques to guide and support you every step of the way.

Breanna loves being a therapist and has been practicing since 2011. Much of that time had been spent with a local non-profit where Breanna helped individuals and families achieve healthy life changes. While doing this early in her career she discovered her interest in perinatal mental health and since then has assisted medical practices with implementation of screenings specific to postpartum depression and anxiety, been a speaker for local moms groups, provided education on perinatal mood disorders in the community, and has had extensive training specific to the treatment of postpartum depression and anxiety.

Breanna studied Psychology as an undergraduate at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and received her MA in Counseling from Doane College. She is a Licensed Mental Health Practioner (LMHP) and a Certified Professional Counselor (CPC). She is a member of Postpartum Support International and is working toward her Certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C).
